By far my fav spot on mississippi is a small cute bar called moloko, But i like to think of it as the "XXX". The brandy sidecar is now my official fav drink. Plus their back patio smells wonderfully portland-esque!.

So it wasn't the greatest of venue's but it sure beat the 5+ hour drive to the gorge, and dont get me started on the clark county amphitheatre, not only does that place blow, but its too near the couve' for comfort. It would be nice to have a festival sized venue in town. Hmmmm???

So the brakes started grinding bad so jake and i found a mechanic (great shop and service by the way) dropped off the van, and toured the city on foot again. We walked mission st at 4th all the way to 24th. Which took about two hours. When we got back found out that are rear pads fell apart :( and big money later, we were on our way again.

So i spent atleast an hour atop a foothill in eastbay overlooking the entire bay, gazing at san francisco and peering at the golden gate bridge. I hiked up the tallest hill i could find and laid in a wheat field on top. It was one of the best places i've ever been to.
